The Home of Musical Theatre for Young People in Witham since 1996
WOW! is an award-winning musical youth theatre group based in Witham, Essex. Our talented and enthusiastic performers’ ages range from 11 to 21. WOW! is the junior section of Witham Amateur Operatic Society (WAOS) and has been performing a variety of challenging and outstanding musical theatre productions every year since 1996. We perform at the Public Hall, Collingwood Road, Witham, Essex, usually in the half-term week in February. Prospective members are warmly welcomed to join us for our spring and summer workshops, our summer school weeks in August and for auditions in September each year.

Wow! Is running a Musical Theatre Skills workshop next Thursday 16th May between 7:30pm and 9:30pm at Witham Public Hall. The cost is £5 payable on the door. It will be led by our Les Miserables director, Nikki Mundell-Poole. Discover the secrets to projecting your voice with confidence and clarity, whether you're singing, acting, or speaking on stage. Through fun games, engaging activities, and hands-on exercises, you'll unleash the full potential of your voice and develop the skills you need to shine in any performance setting. Whether you're a seasoned performer or just starting out, this workshop is perfect for you.

Our next show for February 2025 is Les Miserables. Les Misérables, the well know musical, follows the life of Jean Valjean – an ex-convict who seeks redemption despite being hunted for decades by his rival and ex-guard Javert after breaking parole.
