The Home of Musical Theatre for Young People in Witham since 1996
WOW! is an award-winning musical youth theatre group based in Witham, Essex. Our talented and enthusiastic performers’ ages range from 11 to 21. WOW! is the junior section of Witham Amateur Operatic Society (WAOS) and has been performing a variety of challenging and outstanding musical theatre productions every year since 1996. We perform at the Public Hall, Collingwood Road, Witham, Essex, usually in the half-term week in February. Prospective members are warmly welcomed to join us for our spring and summer workshops, our summer school weeks in August and for auditions in September each year.
Our Auditions for Les Miserables!
Pre-Auditions start on 8th September 10am – 4pm with workshops at Witham Public Hall, Collingwood Road, CM8 2DY where all the parts and audition pieces will be taught. Cost £5. Our Next Show!
Our next show for February 2025 is Les Miserables. Les Misérables, the well know musical, follows the life of Jean Valjean – an ex-convict who seeks redemption despite being hunted for decades by his rival and ex-guard Javert after breaking parole.
